Milk House, Historic Bruentrup Barn

The Maplewood Area Historical Society was established to promote the history of the Maplewood area as well as its home: the Bruentrup Heritage Farm. Bluestem Heritage was hired to conduct the research and develop the history for the creation of an exhibit on the history of suburban dairy farms. Our new exhibit highlights both the broader trends in dairy history, as well the more immediate aspects of the milk house operations. With an emphasis on interactivity, the exhibit uses playful humor and appealing graphics to engage a wide audience.
